- LiDAR canopy structure (sub-decimeter)
- 5-band multispectral: NDVI · NDRE · EVI · GNDVI · SAVI
- Thermal anomaly — pest + transpiration stress
- Cm-level RGB orthomosaic
- Time-series field record on every revisit
- Signed DPDP-compliant consent rider on every acre
India's first drone-grounded crop-risk model.
AGRIDRONE flies for the farmer. Every sortie also carries LiDAR, 5-band multispectral, thermal, and cm-level RGB — and a signed DPDP-compliant consent rider on every acre. The result is the highest-fidelity agricultural ground-truth dataset in India, licensed to crop insurers, reinsurers, FinData desks, and lenders who can't get this resolution from satellite at any price.
Each spray is also a survey.
Every AGRIDRONE flight will carry LiDAR, 5-band multispectral, thermal, and cm-level RGB. The result: the highest-fidelity agricultural ground-truth dataset in India — licensed to crop insurers, reinsurers, and FinData desks who can't get this resolution from satellite at any price.

Data network effect: more flights → denser dataset → better-priced licenses → more buyers fund more flights. The loop runs only inside our fleet. Cropin uses satellite (10m resolution). SatSure uses satellite. We use drones (sub-decimeter) with a signed farmer consent rider. That's the data nobody else can buy at any price.
The farmer is paid to consent.
Every flight asks for explicit, DPDP-compliant consent before capture. In return, the farmer's crop-insurance premium drops 10–25%. They thank us for taking the data — and revoke their consent in 30 days if they ever want to.
- 01DPDP Act 2023 compliance, audit-ready
Every farmer signs a tri-language (English / Kannada / Hindi) consent rider before capture. Voice-recorded signing. Revocable in 30 days. This is the moat artifact.
- 02Farmer is paid to consent
Crop-insurance premium discount of 10–25%, worth ₹1,500–3,750 per farmer per year. The farmer thanks us for taking the data.
- 03Non-replicable by competitors
A new entrant has no spray fleet, no FPO relationship, and no consent carrot. The consent rider is the dataset; the dataset is the moat.
The 24-month commercial path.
From first paid sortie to first reinsurer conversation. Months measured from the close of pre-seed funding.
- 01Month 4
First paid sortie
First Tumkur FPO contract flown, revenue booked.
- 02Month 9
First Indian insurer design partner
Year-1 buyer onboarded for crop-risk dataset.
- 03Month 15
First reinsurer conversation
Munich Re / Swiss Re commercial discussions opened.
- 04Month 24
First commodity desk subscription
Bloomberg / MSCI / FactSet alt-data contract.
Four buyer segments. One dataset.
REST + Parquet drops, weekly cadence.
Buyers integrate via a REST tile API (per-acre query, NDVI / thermal / canopy structure rasters), and weekly Parquet drops for bulk analytics. SOC 2 controls and a signed consent rider accompany every farmer record.
- REST tile API — query by bounding box, FPO ID, or crop
- Weekly Parquet drops to customer-owned S3/GCS bucket
- Webhook on every new sortie ingested
- Consent rider attached to each row; revocations flow in 24h
